I'm back...

I was so happy to be welcomed home by the delightful squeals coming from my little clan of handsome men...
and sad to leave such a breathtaking paradise.

What an amazing week.... Thanks to my Momsi and Popsicle for making it all happen.
Wow! I'm still at a loss for words.

What I've been up to....

Lately, time has been troubling me....for lots of reasons.
I know this little "squeezing it all in" place has been shoved down the priority list as a result.

I'm so sorry to be leaving you on the back burner for a little while, but hours everyday have been spent on the computer...designated to the final production of these wedding pictures.

What wedding? you ask...
The wedding I told you about HERE.
It was a beautiful occasion and I had fun creating some special
images for a really special couple.

Here are a few of my favorites to share:

I'll be getting back to some more regular posting soon.
Thanks for understanding.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I made it!

Hello, my lovelies!!!
I made it back home so I'm getting back to my normal routine.
My weekend trip to Denver was great...I got to wear THIS, take pictures of THESE pretty faces, and work on talking some of my nieces and nephews into loving me.

Thanks to my angel Momsi and Popsicle I got to do a lot of reading and sleeping which was a HUGE benefit to the weekend!
But I missed my little men and I'm so happy to be back with them!

Now, my sewing machine is calling my name.
Only hours before Halloween costumes must be finished before tonight's party....see you tomorrow!

Color Sorting Game

I have a fun little game to share with you today that I threw together before I headed off on vacation with my
little men.

One of my readers, Peas in a Pod, answered my plea for help with fun and creative ideas to help my little men with the hours of traveling planned in their future.
She lead me HERE.
Thank you Peas in a Pod!

Here is my froggie version of Color Sorting...
I grabbed a package of jelly frogs for little hands to squish
One package of 8 tiny Tupperware cups (I only used 6)
Then I cut circles out of coordinating colored construction paper and taped it on the bottom of each cup.
Then, we sorted ...
who doesn't LOVE sweet chubby baby hands?!?!
YUM!
Until everyone was in their place.
Then for our FAVORITE part ....
we let all the frogs jump out and started all over again!

Welcome home

We said a sad goodbye to the glorious Denver heat,
Wilson family Minute to Win it games
and lots of good food, silly fun and even better company...

and now we're welcomed home by our own beds and mounds of laundry.

I'm working my way back into the grind and will be sharing new fun things with you oh, so soon!

"little things" from Denver

Mine has been great...

Here are three of my favorite "little things" from my Saturday in Denver

Now, off to bed so we can fill up another great day with LOTS of fun!
See you soon!

see you later!

I have SOOO much to tell you guys!
Some seriously WONDERFUL news that I just can't WAIT to share with you,
Some CRAZY craziness that happened today - of course, it had to be the day before I leave for Family Reunion time!

And another cute tutorial for some 'little one' learning.
Unfortunately, I'm up to my eyebrows in packing so it's going to have to wait.
Tomorrow I jump on a plane with blue boy and green boy for the weekend.

The best part about this for YOU?...
I have two guests lined up for you while I'm gone.
They are going to share with you two fun tutorials to keep you going while I'm away.

Come check out their posts and click over to their blogs to give them some love.

I'll see you wonderful people on Tuesday where I'll get to share some of these goods that are bursting from my seams.

Something fun to leave you with

from one of my pinboards
I'm soooo making this if you can come up with a way to trim it!

Preparations ...

I'm beginning my preparations to fly to Colorado for a Wilson family reunion ...
a much needed escape to enjoy family we don't see nearly enough!

It will also give me a chance to get to know AND win over my 5 other nieces and nephews
(which to them means a strange woman will be kissing and squishing them every chance she gets)...

I don't have any pictures of their cute faces to share, but I will be solving that dilemma come reunion time!

I will be flying solo with my green boy and blue boys on the plane.
I know the 3 of us can swing it, but I do have one worry ...

I'll be flying with my 18 month old blue boy who cherishes his personal space and doesn't sleep unless he's alone!
As we all know, an airplane ride is anything BUT condusive to the sort of atmosphere that will please this handsome man!

I'm planning to bring a bag full of pre-wrapped trinkets and things to keep him busy unwrapping and playing, LOTS of food
(this guy can eat any of you under the table ... no jokes!)
and a dvd player just for kicks
(we don't watch many movies).
I'm still in need of some suggestions ... any creative and exciting things to do to help him through the experience while not destroying the trip for every other passenger on the plane?

I'll be checking the comments to this post often to take in ALL of your suggestions ...
Don't be shy ... I'm so excited to hear what you have to say!
