We’ve been in a slump over here lately, but we’ve been working hard to climb up out and today we took a big step…literally.
I woke up to this cute boy’s face at my bedside – I honestly don’t remember the last time that happened. I’ve been awakened each morning (and all hours of the night) hearing the constantly repeated sound of my own name yelled from the other side of the house until I was at his bedside…but not today.
We’ve been working hard teaching this boy to walk again. He got the hang of his walker and with some strength, balance and confidence regained he’s figured out how to use his legs again…cast and all. He is still a little wobbly, but he’s getting better everyday.
on top of my green boy’s big accomplishment, this little beauty was found on my front porch today…with some chocolate. It made me smile. I love surprises and I really needed a pick me up.
