Quiet as a mouse...

I see you, family and friends, coming and going from our blog... most of you are as quiet as a mouse. Do you not want a chance to win a giveaway? Something handmade and free?!?! Maybe it's just me but doesn't everyone want to get something handmade and free in the mail? Don't worry, you don't have to think of anything special or profound to say, just something happy. To those of you who have commented already, your happiness has made my day! It has meant a lot. I can't wait to hear more grateful and happy thoughts from the rest of you quiet souls!

my happiness today came with the joy on a little boys face who learned to peddle his bike all by himself and the thoughts of a brand new little girls, fresh from her Heavenly Fathers arms and wisps of heaven on her breath.
Yes who doesn't love something free and made with love. Not me!

Sunday in Relief Society Michelle Collett gave a lesson about friendship. It was a wonderful, in depth lesson and we ended up going way over. One thing she mentioned was about truely putting yourself in someone else's shoes. She read a story about someone going through a miscarraige. It was the hardest thing she could ever imagine going through. All of her friends and everyone were just telling her to put it into perspective and saying "it's ok" when really- it wasn't ok because she wasn't ok!! But then she got a letter from someone that just said, "I cried for you today." Of course the only person I could think of was you. It reminded me of your post you shared with us about "You can do hard things." Heather I know I can't put myself in your shoes, but you truely do bring me to tears when I read these posts.

My happiness comes in the form of the 2 loves of my life. My amazing husband Cameron and our new little guy Colby. Even though the beginning of this new transition has been a little rough my husband has helped me and comforted me, and watching our new little man just makes me so happy. And one other saving grace that has made me so happy is my amazing mother! Having her here with me couldn't be any better! With the love of these 3 amazing individuals as well as my Heavenly Father my happiness meter couldn't be any higher, they remind me of the happiness I currently have but also the happiness I know is to come!
