Pouring

How did you spend your gift's yesterday?
I have to say that I tried not to waste one moment, so I think I spent most of mine really, quite wonderfully well.
Some of my treasured moments ...
(my "little things" list)

-The moment between wakefulness and sleep when my full body stretch-out takes place, a nice roll-over and then a peaceful return to sleep (even if just for another minute or two)

-Waking up (fully) to my green boy singing Katie Perry's Fireworks at the top of his lungs

-one gush after another fresh gush of raspberry delightfulness splashing on my tongue as I whole heartedly enjoyed my breakfast

-Feeling as if no one could see my big swollen eye behind my glasses ...even though, I'm quite sure they could ...long story.

-Being able to get even a little cover up to stick to that big, swollen red eyelid

-Green boy gently patting me on the head while asking "and how did you sleep last night?"

-all the moments my knee didn't hurt!

-Being upgraded to a one leg balance on the balance board at ph
ysical therapy (instead of being 'challenged' to balance a one leg balance on my bad leg ... on the floor)

-The fresh breeze through an open window

-blue boy saying a new word ... "bathtub"

-
my little miracle men actually enjoying a dinner of fresh veggies and homemade hummus with me

-When I finally vacuumed up that little thing that's been sitting in the corner for forever

I hope you join me in my goal this week.
If you missed it ... here is a small recap:
Every moment you get is a gift. Spend it on things that matter. Don’t spend it by dwelling on unhappy things.”
-Anonymous

Today my focus will be spreading that gift.

"Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Think of someone you can pour some happiness on today.
What can you do for or say to them today that will bring them joy or create a "little thing" in their day?

You will inspire others to spend every moment, or 'gift', they are given wisely by doing it yourself.

In the process, you won't be able to keep the joy from spilling all over YOU!

Make today another great day ... for you AND someone else too!!!
I know you can do it!

I can't wait to hear how it goes ...

through all the screeching, squealing, and other unpleasantness of the moment, your post inspired me to just feel the gentle, rhythmic blow of the fan on my shoulders. Very relaxing. Thank you.
