Crazy...

So things have been a little crazy over here since we got back from CA...
So crazy, in fact, that a couple days ago
-while I was running around like a headless chicken getting things done -
I stopped to put Mr.blue eyes down for a nap and suddenly felt something foreign in my hair that I could tell was definitely NOT a bobby pin or rubber band!

I freaked out a little...okay, a LOT...but very quietly considering I had a sleeping babe on my chest.

As I pulled the foreign object out of my tangled mess of hair I prayed and prayed it wouldn't be a little creature.

And then I saw it...and laughed hysterically.
because I found this...

where did I pick it up?
I don't know.
how long was it there?
I don't know.

What I DO know is that by the time I found it, I had already dropped green boy off at school,
gone to the gym, the grocery store, the post office, picked up green boy, talked to his teacher, said "hi" to the mail woman...and more.

All with a plastic yellow spider ring tangled in my hair.
THAT'S how crazy it's been.
I know this informs you of the fact that I don't wash my hair everyday...
or every other day for that matter,
but I'm okay with that.

You need to know that my life is crazy, imperfect, smelly, messy, and tangled sometimes
.

And even with all that my life entails and my slight mortification at this yellow discovery,
I found this moment on my "little things" list because it made my heart smile.

Let YOUR heart smile...and document your treasures.
We would love for you to SHARE them!
